Pasta Frola
Ingredients
2 cups of Flour
½ cup of Sugar
2 teaspoons of Baking Powder
½ teaspoon of Salt
½ cup of Butter
2 Eggs
1 tablespoon of Water
½ tablespoon of Vanilla Extract
1 teaspoon of Lemon Zest
400 grams of Quince Jam
Preparation
Step 1 : In a bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Step 2 : Then, add the butter and knead until you achieve a consistency similar to cornmeal.
Step 3 : Next, add the dough to the lightly beaten eggs with water, vanilla, and lemon zest.
Step 4 : Afterwards, roll out 3/4 of the dough by hand and place it in a previously buttered cake pan.
Step 5 : Lift the sides and fill with quince jam.
Step 6 : Then, cover with the remaining dough in a lattice pattern.
Step 7 : Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for approximately 30 minutes.
